About Emanuel

We want to let you know what to expect at Emanuel Lutheran Church. We hope this information will be helpful to you and will make you feel welcome here. Our prayer is that you will come to worship with us and experience God's love.

Emanuel Lutheran, located in La Habra, California, is a Lutheran Church affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).

Worship Opportunities

8:30 AM – The Scripture readings for the day are read and discussed in an adult gathering in the Fireside Room of the fellowship hall.

9:15 AM – Traditional worship takes place. Communion is offered at every worship service. Special music is provided by the Senior Choir, Bell Choir, or Children’s Choir. Organ or piano leads the singing.  

10:30 AM -- Sunday School for Preschool through High School. 

11:15 AM – Praise worship includes communion every Sunday as well as music provided by Emanuel’s Adult or Junior Praise Band. Our Praise worship includes a sermon, which is based on the scripture readings for the day, by either our Pastor or our Vicar.
