Alpha Ministry

Alpha is an opportunity for everyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions. It is low-key, friendly and fun, and is supported by most mainline Christian denominations.

Emanuel Lutheran offers two sessions of the Alpha course each year, in the spring and the fall. Everyone is welcome during an Alpha session to learn more about the Christian faith and ask any and all questions. Each week the group shares a meal together before hearing a message and then having a chance to discuss topics raised by the talk. The Alpha course is free and child care is provided.
