Sunday School

We at Emanuel Lutheran Church are blessed with a wonderful Sunday School program taught by loving dedicated teachers. Our teachers stay with the same class so that students get to know them throughout the year. We currently offer classes beginning at age three through high school:

• The younger grades are currently using curriculum published by Group Publishing entitled Hands On Bible Curriculum.
• The junior high class is currently studying the book of Daniel and often delve into issues confronting their lives.
• The high school class, having just completed the book of John, will move to a study from the Old Testament.

We have a faithful group of students in all grade levels and we encourage all students to bring friends and family as well. All visitors are warmly welcomed and encouraged to return on a regular basis.

Community service is another area of Christian life that we promote in Sunday School. We believe that it’s never too soon to learn how to serve others. Drama and music opportunities are also a way that our program teaches our belief in Jesus Christ.

All ages meet at 10:30AM on Sunday mornings. Grades preschool through 6th meet in our fellowship hall for their opening. The junior high and high school classes meet at 10:30AM in their respective classrooms on the south end of the property.

We love to see new faces at any time and relish the opportunity to spread the Good News of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
